One of the security features of the Origo Transfer Service is that we restrict usage of email domains unless approved by Origo.
For example;
A new provider joins the transfer service, Origo will set them up on the serive and add their User Administrators. The email domains used will have to belong to the provider the user is employed by. In the below example we are adding on the User Administrator for Lochside Pensions. The user is employed by Origo and has an Origo email domain;
As this User is the first to be added to the instance, "origo.com" is added to the list of permissable email domains for that provider and no other email domains can be used unless Origo authorise them to do so.
The email domains have to belong to a company. We cannot use generic email domains such as "Outlook.com" or "gmail.com".
If the provider wishes to use any other email domains for their user accounts they will need to contact Origo and request for the domains to be added. The Origo Customer Services agent will then contact Head of Customer Experience who has the authority to manage email domains (in the UAT environment any Origo user can maintain domains".
